Domain History
We are the original owners of Paystreak.com. Registered back in the 1990's. Although the domain has sometimes been used to host various websites, we have never promoted it to its fullest potential.
We are the 2nd owner of Paystreak.net. It was originally a website for a mining supply company.
Paystreak is an old mining term for the "paying" part of an ore vein. Usually this was a "streak" of color in the vein.
This term has been around for a long time and just like the terms "Motherlode" and "Eureka" it has been applied to modern day meanings that have nothing to do with mining.
Over time the term has come to mean "Money Making" or "Riches".
Paystreak can thus be branded to any type of enterprise, to represent a financially successful business.
The name is also very short and simple to remember, so it could be used for any business without having to represent anything.
The same way Amazon does not mean books. Or Monster does not mean jobs. Other examples are Yahoo and Ebay.
In the days of the dot com bubble I had Great Domains appraise paystreak.com, the appraisal was for $25,000.00 to $40,000.00. Great Domains was the biggest and most respected domain appraiser at that time.
We have included links on this page to all pages of that appraisal. Todays domain market is setting new highs for premium domains. We will entertain all offers.
